Ballymaloe Garden Festival

“A weekend for all garden lovers…seasoned experts, late bloomers, families and foodies alike.”

July 2016: Ireland’s Blue Book is delighted to announce that the ‘Ballymaloe Garden Festival’ will be held on the 3rd and 4th of September 2016, in the Walled Gardens at Ballymaloe House, Midleton, Shanagarry, Co. Cork.

Ballymaloe Garden Festival features more than 50 stalls; plants, garden accessories, seed swapping, local food hero stalls and more.

The Walled Garden Classroom is running an extensive programme of classes from subject experts in topics such as establishing a wildlife friendly garden, attracting bees and butterflies, growing organic fruit and vegetables, designing your garden from scratch - see online for more details.

There will also be Ballymaloe Garden Festival Fringe Festival activities throughout the weekend where you may learn about Bee Keeping, Edible flowers, Garden photography, Biochar, Foraging for cocktail ingredients, Fusions and more and live music in The Big Shed.

Talks and walks will run from 10am to 4pm each day. Tickets are available on the day for €8 per person, with children under 16 free.

About Ballymaloe House
