Golf at Royal Portrush, Portstewart and Royal Country Down literally matches the best the World has to offer. Castlerock Golf Club set among rolling sand dunes is yet another great links course on the Causeway Coast, situated in the seaside village of Castlerock and a short drive from Ardtara Country House.

There is an 18-hole course on Baronscourt Estate, widely recognised as being one of the best inland courses in Northern Ireland. Alternatively, there is a whole series of lovely links along the coast of Donegal. There are nine golf courses in the vicinity, most of which are within thirty-five minutes drive from Belle Isle.

A golfer's dream can be arranged with unforgettable golf at the K Club (1/2 mile) or Carton House (15 minutes). The O' Meara Course and the Montgomerie Course are also located within a short drive of Barberstown Castle, making the hotel the ideal base for the keen golfer.

The beautiful Druids Glen Golf Resort is located close to Hunter's Hotel.

There are an impressive variety of golfing facilities within a short drive from Kilgraney House included among them is the world famous Mount Juliet Golf Club.

Marlfield is close to many well-known Golf Clubs, which include the following: Courtown 5 minutes, The European, Woodenbridge and Enniscorthy 25 minutes, Arklow 15 minutes, Druid's Glen and Wexford Golf Club 45 minutes, St Helen's Bay 55 minutes and Mount Juliet 1¼ hours. Guests at Newport House can enjoy some excellent Golf at a number of 18 hole and 9 hole golf courses nearby including Westport Golf Club. Parkland and links courses with superb facilities and breathtaking scenery are dotted all along the West of Ireland - in Co Mayo and neighboring Co Sligo.

One of the country's oldest courses, the nine-hole Otway, is just a few minutes' away from Rathmullan House. Portstalon Golf Club is a beautiful twenty minute drive, and the magnificent Rosapenna course about half-an-hour.
