There are two courses in Enniscrone Golf Club, The Dunes which is our flagship Championship course and the Scurmore Course. Enniscrone gives the golfer a picture of life as it must have been for a primeval person - rugged dunes, unchanged since time began, a bracing wind, clear sky, the most beautiful beach in Ireland, the Moy Estuary and the Atlantic Ocean, all encompassed by the backdrop of the Nephin and Ox Mountains as they loom heavily against the sky. An idyllic haven indeed, you must admit, to escape the pressures of modern day life for a few hours.
Enniscoe House is listed as a Heritage House of Ireland and has passed to the present through twelve generations of the family to the present owne, Susan Kellett. She has now been joined by her son, DJ Kellett.
Stella Maris was built in 1853 as a Coast Guard fortress and subsequently became a convent in 1914. The detailed restoration of this imposing 19th century oceanfront structure was completed in 2002. Antiques are interspersed with comfortable leather furniture to create a 'homey' sense for guests.
Coopershill House in County Sligo is a fine example of a Georgian family mansion. Home to seven generations of the O'Hara family since it was built in 1774, it combines the spaciousness and elegance of an earlier age with the comfort and amenities of today.
"Hideaway of the Year 2004" 'Cromleach Lodge is set in the quiet hills above Lough Arrow, with the pre-historic Carrowkeel Cairns meeting the everchanging sky beyond ' a spectacular vista of unspoiled mountain, lake and valley.
