A combination of unique golfing challenges to add to the enjoyment of one of the most unspoilt parts of Ireland, Lahinch Golf Club provides two 18-hole links courses, the Castle Course and the famous Old Course, the gem of Irish golf courses. In 1894, the original layout was re-designed by old Tom Morris of St.Andrews,1927 saw the arrival in Lahinch of Alistair MacKenzie. MacKenzie was a purist in golf course design. Lahinch Golf Course occupies a very special place in Irish golf: its location, its history, and its character layout all contribute to a really special experience for any golfing enthusiast.
With it's myriad botanical, archaeological and cultural treasures and with breathtaking views across Galway Bay and the visually enchanting and unique Burren limestone landscape, Gregans Castle Hotel, County Clare, is the ultimate luxury hideaway.
Glin Castle, one of Ireland's most historic properties, has been in the FitzGerald family, hereditary Knights of Glin, for over 700 years. The castle with its superb interiors, decorative plasterwork, and collections of Irish furniture and paintings, stands on the bank of the River Shannon.
