CELEBRATE BURNS NIGHT IN THE GRANDEUR OF ARDTARA

17/01/2017

Transport yourself to the era of one of Scotland’s most loved poets Robert Burns and join in the annual celebration of his life at Ardtara Country House Hotel on Friday 27 January.

Nestled in 10 wooded acres, Ardtara’s doors will be open for the annual traditional Burns Night supper which includes piping in the haggis and will celebrate the work of the genius with a special recital of some of his greatest poetry.

Guests will be treated to cocktails and canapes on arrival, followed by a five course classic Scottish tasting menu which has been created by Chef Patron Ian Orr.

Whilst kilts and tartans are optional, Sean McEvoy, General Manager, Ardtara Country House Hotel, says that he fully expects guests to get into the Rabbie Burns spirit for the evening’s festivities.  Sean said:  “Ardtara lends itself perfectly to this annual tribute to Robert Burns in honour of his culture and tradition.  Guests can truly transport themselves back to his era from the moment they turn onto the driveway at Ardtara and I know that they will be adorned in their finest tartans in order to get into the spirit of the Bard.”

Burns Night celebration includes cocktails and canapes, piping in the haggis, five course tasting menu, recital of Rabbie Burns finest work and a wee dram.  Prices start at £59.00 per person.  Pairing wines and overnight packages are available.  Tel 028 7964 4490 or email info@ardtara.com for details of how to book.

Ardtara Country House Hotel offers sumptuous award winning accommodation and exquisite fine dining in its oak panelled dining room right in the heart of Mid Ulster.
