When tasked with the challenge to create a feast fit for Father, Hayfield Manor’s hardest working Dad, Executive Head Chef, Mark Staples, decided to recreate his own favourite blow-out dish, a mouth-watering combo dish of local Toonsbridge Buffalo Burger served with a chilled glass of Rebel Red Beer and each time this dish is ordered, Hayfield Manor will make a donation of €10 to the Men’s Cancer Alliance. Support this very worthy cause by joining the launch occasion on Father’s Day or thereafter, create your own occasion by dining in the luxury of Hayfield Manor to enjoy this lip-smacking dish any time up to the end of June.
Indulge with a chilled glass of ‘Rebel Red’ craft beer and Mark’s Toonsbridge Buffalo Burger, which is placed within a soft O’Keeffe’s bap, topped with caramelized white onion and thyme chutney, beef tomatoes, baby gem and served with Hayfield home-fries. Enjoy this delicious dish in your choice of Perrotts Garden Bistro, The Manor Bar or as an alternative dining option during the daily white-glove Afternoon Tea service in Orchids Restaurant.
This delicious combination will be priced at €20.00 and for each Buffalo Burger & Beer combo served, €10.00 will be donated to Men’s Cancer Alliance.
Mark’s burger features Buffalo meat sourced from Toonsbridge Buffalo Farm in Macroom. Buffalo meat is renowned for its nutritional value and great-taste healthy alternative to beef. Rebel Red is an Irish Red Ale which is brewed by Franciscan Well Micro Brewery in Cork city and is on tap at Hayfield Manor. Launched in 1998, Rebel Red was the top selling Exceptional Irish Red Ale in the market and won a Gold Medal at the world beer awards for Europe’s Best Amber 2013.
