New Head Chef Kelan McMichael appointed to Rathmullan House

Kelan has brought his passion for home grown, sustainable produce to the Rathmullan table and is delighting all with his culinary skills. Derryman Kelan, has moved from the Bogside and taken up residence in Bog Cottage in Rathmullan and looks forward to spending his free time exploring the shores of Lough Swilly. He previously worked in Roscoffs, Deanes in Belfast and Castle Leslie.

To celebrate his new post, Kelan will prepare a 6 course tasting menu, available each evening from February 15th to 20th at €45 per person.

He's enthusiastically preparing for his Valentines Dinner on February 13th and 14th and Valentines Sunday Lunch on February 14th.

Cooking For Pleasure - in The Mustard Seed

Enjoy a day in the Mustard Seed kitchen with Head Chef David Rice, who along with his team will guide you through the preparation and cooking of mouth watering dishes guaranteed to impress your guests! The course is limited to 8 participants and the cost of the full day, inclusive of lunch is €99 per person. The dishes demonstrated will include three starters, three main courses and three desserts including a vegetarian option. Marlfield House will open in March for their 33rd year

Marlfield House will be re-opening for 2010 on Friday 5th March for their 33rd year! The house will be offering rates from €75 per person for bed and breakfast, their delicious five course dinner is €59 and Marlfield also have a supper menu for €38. Lunch will be served day every day in the Library for €25 for three courses and Sunday lunch will be €38.
