December 2009:The Bushmills Inn hotel & restaurant has recently been awarded four star status by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board.  In addition the hotel was inspected by the AA and awarded 4 stars along with an AA Rosette for the restaurant.

Added to this is the ‘Best Hotel’ in Northern Ireland (under 75 rooms) awarded by the Licensed and Catering News in October 2009.

All of these awards follow on from the recent completion of the extension to the property.   An additional 19 over sized guest bedrooms consisting of 1 Suite, 4 Junior suites, 4 Duplex guest rooms (on 2 levels) and 10 guest rooms have been added, bringing the total complement of bedrooms at the Bushmills Inn to 41. The development also incorporated a new reception hall, a ‘Garden Room’ extension to the Restaurant, a new patio area, a new Residents garden and the hotel's car park has also been extended.
