May 2011, Dublin: Due to the popularity of their Indian and Thai cookery courses, Belle Isle Cookery School have decided to create their own “Curry Club”. Once a
month members will be guided through the spicy delights of regional curries. Naseem Booth will begin each evening with an introduction to the ingredients included in the night’s dishes with an interesting insight into the culture and traditions of the region in focus. There will be a choice of evenings to attend and a “hands on” cookery evening where you will have the opportunity of cooking the curries from scratch and then sampling the fruits of your labours in the dining room for an authentic banquet. Belle Isle will supply all the equipment and ingredients that you will need each evening and even wash up for you! Each evening will run from about 5.30-10pm.
Perhaps you would just prefer to watch one of Naseem’s entertaining demonstrations with food to sample afterwards in the kitchen. These evenings will run from 7-9pm. Immerse yourselves with the heady aromas of “Rogan Josh” from Kashmir, mouth watering “Dal Makhani” from Punjab, not to mention the seafood and vegetarian curries from Southern India and Green Thai coconut curries.
