Earagail Arts Festival and Rathmullan House introduce the Awaking

The Awakening: A Feast Of The Senses

Rathmullan House Hotel, 3rd/4th/5th February 2012

Earagail Arts Festival and Rathmullan House proudly invite you to The Awakening, a winter feast of the senses set in the luxurious surrounds of Rathmullan House Hotel on the banks of Lough Swilly. Refresh your mind with a weekend winter tonic, offering debate, discourse, top quality entertainment - and fine quality dining.

Participants include economist and author David McWilliams, acclaimed historian Diarmaid Ferriter, Late Late Show bandleader Paddy Cullivan, Donegal’s own Pearse Doherty TD and local businesswoman-turned-reality TV sensation Joanne Sweeney-Burke, alongside performances from local heroes, In Their Thousands, Little John Nee, Balkan Alien Sound and Derry’s own Foyle Follies.

But what is The Awakening? A weekend of lively and irreverent discussion exploring the future of the Irish nation, punctuated by exciting live performances from a host of top entertainers, the centerpiece of which is The Snowball, a lavish affair mixing high calibre, seasonal cuisine with a night of top quality cabaret, overseen by Master Of Ceremonies Little John Nee.

Tickets to individual events are available separately, with prices starting at a bargain basement €10.  All events take place at Rathmullan House Hotel, who are offering a splendid all-in Awakening Weekend Package for the occasion, with two nights B&B and tickets to all events at €185 per person. In-house spa treatments, leisure club and a range of outdoor activities are available nearby, set amidst the stunning landscape of the Fanad Peninsula.

Come shake off those mental cobwebs - feed your mind, body and soul.
