The Ice House wins the 2009 small Golf hotel of the Year award

October 2009: The Ice House, Ballina, Co. Mayo has won the 2009 Small Golf Hotel of the Year Award at 12th Annual IGTOA “Gala Irish Golf Awards” dinner which was hosted last Monday Oct 19th.

The gala black tie event is the largest gathering in the Irish golf tourism industry and was attended by the Minister for Arts, Sport & Tourism Mr. Martin Cullen T.D and was hosted by international sports TV commentator and presenter Shane O’Donoghue.

The Ice House in Ballina is located a short distance from Enniscrone, Carne Belmullet, Rosses Point & Ballina Golf Clubs. The hotel has attracted and catered for golfers since its opening, organising tee times and providing advice on local courses for guests.
