Blue Book members top the list at Food & Wine OscarsAugust 2005
Sixteen major awards and highly commended accolades went to Blue Book members last Sunday (28th August) at the annual Food & Wine magazine awards. These are the Oscars of the restaurant world in Ireland and for the second year running Blue Book members came away with their hands full of well deserved awards and accolades.

Restaurant of the Year - L’Ecrivain Restaurant, Dublin.
Restaurant of the Year (Highly Commended) – Chapter One Restaurant and Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud, Dublin.
Chef of the Year - Derry Clarke , L’Ecrivain Restaurant, Dublin.
Chef of the Year (Highly Commended) – Guillaume Lebrun, Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud

Restaurant of the Year – The Wineport Restaurant, Co. Westmeath.
Chef of the Year - Kevin Dundon, Dunbrody House, Co. Wexford.
Country House Restaurant (Highly Commended) – Rathsallagh House, Co. Wicklow.

Country House Restaurant - Castle Leslie, Co. Monaghan.
Munster
Country House Restaurant– The Mustard Seed at Echo Lodge, Co. Limerick.
Country House Restaurant (Highly Commended) – Moy House, Co. Clare.
