October 2010: All the team here at Hayfield Manor were delighted with the announcement that we have won Cork Business of the Quarter, awarded by Cork Business Association. 
The award was presented to Hayfield Manor at a special function on 14th October. James O'Sullivan, chairman of the judging panel, said Hayfield Manor is one of Ireland's top hotels. "The judges had no difficulty picking this proud family hotel" he said.
Accepting the award on behlf of Hayfield Manor, Paul O'Connell said; "We have worked hard over the past two years and worked closely with CBA members in forming relationships. We are delighted to have won this quarter's Business of the Year Award.
The awards recognize the value and achievement of Cork businesses and acknowledge those that have contributed to, or promoted, the enhancement of the commercial, cultural or civic life of Cork.
As a quarterly winner, Hayfield Manor are now a contender for the title of Cork Business of the Year 2010, with the winner to be announced 20th November.
Also, Hayfield Manor received the first place prize in the Tourism Category of Corks Better Buildings Award this week, with Mark Scally collecting the prize on behalf of the hotel on Tuesday 2nd November
