Donegal Hotelier Enters Hall of Fame Award

November 2017: Ireland’s Blue Book is delighted to announce that Mary Sweeney of Castle Grove Country House, Co Donegal received the Hall of Fame Award at the Letterkenny Chamber of Commerce Awards 2017. 

The Letterkenny Chamber of Commerce awarded Mary with the Hall of Fame Award for her contribution to business in Letterkenny and hospitality in Donegal. Castle Grove House became home to the Sweeney family in 1989 who proudly transformed it into a luxury four-star hotel, while preserving the character and beauty of the original house and expansive grounds.

Castle Grove is one of the newest properties to join the Ireland’s Blue Book for 2018, which was announced at the Blue Book Annual General Meeting of Blue Book hoteliers and restaurateurs on November 7th, 2017.
