    On Friday 28th February, a dinner inspired by Maura Laverty's Full and Plenty cookery book will be served in Ballymaloe House at 6pm. It is followed by the play. Maura Laverty - This Was Your Life, in Ballymaloe Grainstore at 8pm. Head Chef Dervilla O'Flynn has created a three-course menu of deliciously 'retro' choices. Dinner €55pp, play tickets are €22.     Calling all brides-to-be (and their mums, bridesmaids, friends) The Gloss Magazine’s Wedding Salon, at The Merrion, is essential for brides who want their weddings to be sophisticated, intimate and memorable. Event planner extraordinaire Tara Fay will lead a wedding planning masterclass, with Sharon Hoey and Helen Cody on bridal dressing, hair and make-up with Brown Sugar, flowers with Ruth Monaghan of Appassionata, table design, menus, gifts, photography, budgeting and planning.Every attendee will receive inspirational ideas and practical advice.   • Annual International Women's Day Dinner
    at The Mustard Seed

    The Mustard Seed in Ballingarry, Co Limerick will host its annual International Women’s Day Dinner on Sunday 8th March. Guests will once again choose from a menu that has been carefully curated by Head Chef Angel Pirev. Angel is an advocate for using ingredients freshly picked from the Mustard Seed garden as well as from local producers and appeared on RTE 1 as part of Neven Maguire’s Irish Food Trails series.There will also be literary works courtesy of Listowel Writers’ Week and complimentary tickets to visit the Maureen O'Hara exhibition at the Foynes Flying Boat & Maritime Museum.

    International Women’s Day takes place on Sunday 8th March and celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievement of women. The 2020 campaign theme is #EachforEqual.

  • Flower Arranging Masterclass

    Tracey Kempton-Caves, from the award-winning Willow and Twine Floral Design studio, will be joining us in the Garden Restaurant at Ardtara to demonstrate how to make beautiful hand-tied bouquets. After the demonstration, you are invited to create your own hand-tied bouquet using a mix of fresh, dried and decorative materials. some of which will be foraged right on Ardtara's doorstep.
    You will start off with a mini afternoon tea and a glass of Prosecco to help to get you in a creative frame of mind, and afterwards, a three-course a la carte dinner will be served.

  • May Dawn Chorus Walk
    at Longueville House

    On Sunday 3rd May at 4am, Participants meet at Longueville House Hote. A brief orientation & maps will be distributed before setting off on tour. Afterwards, return back to Longueville House to enjoy a hearty country breakfast. Following this, retreat to the drawing room for a cosy question and answers session by the fire. Longueville is known for its more intimate chorus walks, allowing participants to benefit from more of the guides attention and time.
