Mount Temple Golf Club is just ten minutes or so from Wineport Lodge and offers panoramic views and undulating fairways. Athlone Golf Course is the oldest of the bunch and dates back to 1892. It’s picturesquely located at Hodson Bay on the other side of Lough Ree, which surrounds the course on three sides.
