The MV Shannon Princess has moored at the banks of Wineport Lodge. With both being part of Ireland’s Blue Book romantic collection, the luxurious hotel barge has collaborated with Wineport Lodge to deliver a unique hospitality experience that will make lasting memories of this year’s staycation.
On board, the cabins are all above the waterline with riverside-opening picture windows, giving unparalleled views of the captivating Lough Ree. Cabins can be arranged with twin or king-sized beds and are spacious, crisp, and light. Each cabin has its own bathroom which is fully stocked with local artisan, organic shower products along with towels, slippers, and bathrobes. Each cabin has access to WiFi and air conditioning to make guests stay as serene and relaxed as possible.
To make the most of the stunning surroundings, guests can enjoy a pre-dinner cruise with Prosecco and Canapés every evening. Dining for breakfast and dinner will be catered for at the Lodge before guests return back to their cabins at the water’s edge to enjoy the comforting ripples of Lough Ree and the stunning views of the lake.

For the MV Shannon Princess, rates start at €300 per night for two people sharing. This includes breakfast each morning onshore in Wineport and the pre-dinner cruise with Prosecco and Canapes at 6:30pm each evening. The cruise lasts about one hour and tours the mystical inner lake of Lough Ree.
