Coopershill House And Ballyfin Demesne win 2013 Andrew Harpers Awards.

01/01/2013

January 2013: Ireland’s Blue Book is delighted to announce that Coopershill House and Ballyfin Demesne are recipients of Andrew Harper Awards for 2013.

Ballyfin Demesne in Co. Laois won a Grand Award and Sligo’s Coopershill House owner Simon O’Hara won the Hospitality Award.

Andrew Harper Special Awards call attention to hotels, restaurants, staff and travel experiences of special note that Mr. Harper encountered within the past calendar year of his travels. To be considered for the annual awards properties must be relatively small in size, process strong individual personalities, offer relaxing atmospheres, and demonstrate a consistent devotion to personal service.

The Hideaway Report mentions that Coopershill “embodies the spirit of Irish hospitality at its best” and owner Simon O’ Hara “could not be more gracious and helpful”.

Commenting on the luxurious Ballyfin Demesne, the report says “We soon fell in to the seductive rhythm of country house life.”

The complete list of 2013 Special Recognition Awards is featured in a complimentary January Hideaway Report at
