Enniscoe House and Estate has been owned by the same family for 13 generations. In that time, it has been part of the fabric of North Mayo and its history. The exhibition is a celebration of the generations of families, faces and memories connected to Enniscoe House and Estate.
The exhibition Enniscoe People will be opened on Saturday the 10th of August in the Enniscoe Conference by Professor Terence Dooley - the Director of the Centre for the Study of Historic Irish Houses at NUI Maynooth, and a god friend at Enniscoe House and its vibrant history. Professor Dooley is also a well known historian and has penned books such as The Decline of the Big House in Ireland, and The Land for the People: The Land Question in Independent Ireland.
Exhibition Date: 1st August – 15th September
