The house offers elegant surroundings for events up to 40 people, whilst our grounds offer additional space for guests and hidden corners for small gatherings. In order to hold any event in Newforge House, you are required to hire all six bedrooms on the night of your event. Hire includes exclusive hire of the house and gardens from 12noon on the day of hire until 11 am the following day. Special offers - exclusive hire rates. The Dining Room can seat up to 28 for formal dining. The Drawing Room and Entrance Hall provide additional, relaxed surroundings for a drinks and-or canape receptions. Each year at Dunowen House we host a select number of weddings, working with couples who want a more intimate, laid back and personal celebration. When you book Dunowen, it is yours exclusively for the entire duration of your stay, providing you with accommodation for up to 23 guests in nine luxuriously appointed bedrooms. Dunowen House is fully licensed to host weddings on site and ceremonies can be conducted inside, outside on the large terrace or under the ancient sycamore tree on the lawns. The private cove at the bottom of the laneway makes a stunning beach location for your wedding photographs. With smaller weddings, it can be hard not to feel overwhelmed in a hotel or more traditional venue.
