Castle Grove Celebrates 30 Years in Business

05/09/2019

September 2019: Ireland’s Blue Book is delighted to announce that Castle Grove House in Co. Donegal celebrates 30 years in Business this year.

Castle Grove House, a Georgian house situated at the end of a mile-long avenue on the shores of Lough Swilly, was taken over by the Sweeney family in 1989 who transformed the property into a luxury, four-star country house retreat while upholding its traditions by respectfully maintaining the character, elegance and beauty of the original house and its tranquil and expansive surroundings.

Castle Grove are celebrating their 30th year in business with the launch of their own “Original Cider”. The Apples used in production of the Cider come directly from the Walled Garden on the grounds of the estate, as does much of the fruit and vegetables used in their award-winning fine dining restaurant.

Castle Grove have won numerous awards over the years such as the “Hall of Fame Excellence Award” nine years in a row and was named in the “Top 25 Small Hotels of Ireland 2018”, both from Trip Advisor.

This Saturday 7th September from 2pm-5pm, Castle Grove welcomes guests for a fun-filled complimentary afternoon with live music, delicious cake bakes and refreshments. Mary T, Raymond and their family are delighted to have welcomed guests from home and abroad for the past 30 years and are using this celebration as an opportunity to show their gratitude for the continued support they have received.
