Kilkenny, Tuesday 25th September 2018; Ireland’s Blue Book is delighted to announce wins for Castle Leslie Estate, Marlfield House, the Ice House and Park Hotel Kenmare at the Hotel & Catering Gold Medal Awards 2018 which took place in Kilkenny on the 25th of September.
Judged by industry experts, the Hotel & Catering Review Gold Medal Awards recognise and reward excellence in hospitality and catering operations across the island of Ireland.
Castle Leslie Estate won the hotly-contested Gold Medal People’s Choice Award for Ireland’s Favourite Place to Stay for the second year running.
The Duck Restaurant at Marlfield House scooped the award for Ireland’s Hotel Casual Dining Experience.
The Ice House was awarded Best Hotel Website and John Moriarty of the Park Hotel Kenmare achieved the Outstanding Service Award which recognised his outstanding service to their working establishment and the hospitality industry.
Now in their 30th year, the Gold Medal Awards are recognised as the leading independent awards programme for the Irish hospitality industry.
