Castle Leslie Estate Scoops Three Prestigious Awards Including Ireland’s Favourite Place to Stay. CASTLE LESLIE ESTATE once again was a winner at the 2024 Virgin Media Gold Medal Awards. The stunning Monaghan estate triumphed at the 34th Annual Gold Medal Awards, winning the hotly contested Gold Medal People’s Choice Award for Ireland’s Favourite Place to Stay, together with the Gold Medal Award for Ireland’s Castle & Heritage Wedding Excellence and the Bronze award for Ireland’s Sustainability/Leading Green Hotel.
Now in their 34th year, the Virgin Media Business Gold Medal Awards are recognised as the leading independent awards programme for the Irish hospitality industry. Judged by industry experts, the Virgin Media Business Gold Medal Awards recognise and reward excellence in hospitality and catering operations across the island of Ireland. The winners were announced on Tuesday, the 30th of January at a gala awards ceremony hosted by Anton Savage at The Galmont Hotel & Spa in Galway.
