The story of Cavistons Glasthule, Co Dublin begins in 1948 when Peter's uncle James had a casual pint with the Glasthule's then fishmonger. On awaking the following morning, he found he had bought the business for €300! Cavistons was born and after the shop passed to first his father and then himself, Peter began expanding , armed with his sense of adventure, his love of food and his gregarious personality..
