Dublin, May 2020: Ireland’s Blue Book is delighted to announce that a number of their hotel and country house restaurants are offering delivery and collection services. Customers in the surrounding areas can have all the deliciousness found in their local Blue Book restaurant in their own home.
In Wexford, The Local at Dunbrody House has been operating a takeaway pizza service each Saturday, providing customers with stone-baked pizzas with a plethora of toppings.
Castle Grove Country House near Letterkenny, Co. Donegal will deliver a “Sunday Lunch To Go” service at weekends, with a selection of sweet treats also available.
Currarevagh Country House in Connemara, Co. Galway held their first pop-up delivery service on Saturday April 23rd, which sold out. Due to the fantastic demand, they have continued the service since then, with the next being available on Saturday the 9th of May.
Also in Galway, locals brought five-star luxury home as Glenlo Abbey announced their "Glenlo at Home" takeaway, which operates each weekend. This has allowed Glenlo to take on 3 former employees who have been unable to work onsite due the restrictions implemented in April.
In Waterford, The Tannery will be offering a sublime 3 course menu to Dungarvan residents from Friday - Sunday each weekend.
Ahernes Townhouse and Restaurant in Youghal, Co. Cork are offering 3 of their customer’s favourite dishes and some extras to takeaway.
Michelin-star restaurant Campagne in Kilkenny will also be offering a top-class 2 course menu, beginning on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th of May.
To make this a completely contactless process, customers simply ring the properties, order and pay over the phone, and the finest cuisine is either delivered to their door or collected from the properties.

The Tannery: Order on 058 45420 between 2pm and 5pm Thurs, Fri and Sat. You will then give you a collection slot for your chosen day. Slots will be limited and staggered in 15 min intervals.
Campagne Restaurant: To order, call us on 0567772858. Phone lines will be open on Thursday 7th & Friday 8th May from 1pm - 4pm. Orders will be available for collection from 5pm - 7pm.
Ahernes Townhouse and Restaurant: Call us on (024) 92424 between 10-2 this Wednesday and Thursday to pre-order. Orders will then be available for collection in a series of pre-arranged time slots between 5-8 Friday and Saturday. Times will be allocated on a first come first serve basis and collection will be from our carpark.
