Mount Juliet Estate announced as Luxury Destination Partner for the iconic Dublin Horse Show

05/07/2017

Mount Juliet Estate is delighted to announce a new three-year partnership with the Dublin Horse Show with the Estate becoming Luxury Destination Partner of the iconic equestrian, social and family event, now in its 144th year.

Mount Juliet Estate will also be the title sponsor of The Accumulator, an exciting international show-jumping competition at the Dublin Horse Show that takes place in the Main Arena at the RDS on Saturday, August 12th.

“At Mount Juliet Estate we are deeply proud of our equestrian history,” says Christine Murphy, General Manager of the Estate, “and there are references to the great champion horses born and bred on the Estate to be found everywhere throughout the hotel. That equestrian tradition is just one of the reasons Mount Juliet Estate becoming Luxury Destination Partner for the Dublin Horse Show is such a good fit.

Mount Juliet Estate has the same tradition of Irish hospitality at the heart of everything we do as the Dublin Horse Show does too, so we are very much looking forward to being part of this classic Irish sporting, social and family event.”

Relaxed, luxurious, beautiful, Mount Juliet Estate is a magnificent 500-acre country estate – one of Europe’s finest – with a gorgeous Georgian house set at its heart, just outside medieval Kilkenny.

Understated luxury in a place of unique natural beauty, Mount Juliet Estate offers a polished blend of resort experiences.

Guests can choose from accommodation in the Georgian manor house, in the Rose Garden Lodges set throughout the lush gardens, or in the newly refurbished and redeveloped Hunter’s Yard, along with a selection of exceptional dining options including the Lady Helen, the Estate’s one-star Michelin restaurant, the Clubhouse, and the new Restaurant at Hunter’s Yard.

Mount Juliet Estate is also renowned for its outdoor activities – fishing, golf, archery and, of course, equestrian pursuits. The Estate’s 400-year tradition of working with horses is continued in the superb Equestrian Centre with its rider’s paradise of pasture, park and woodland, two all-weather arenas, a full set of FEI approved show jumps and a 30-acre cross country course, in addition to trails spread across the 500-acre estate.

“Bringing friends and guests of Mount Juliet Estate along to experience the thrill of international show jumping at the Dublin Horse Show is something we are very excited about,” says Christine Murphy, General Manager of the Estate, “and we particularly look forward to presenting the winner of The Accumulator sponsored by Mount Juliet Estate with their prize on Saturday August 12th!”
