Mount Juliet Estate is delighted to announce the launch of its summer menu at the newly refurbished outdoor Terrace at The Hound restaurant. The new renovation is cleverly designed, to suit Ireland’s ever-changing weather, meaning guests can dine alfresco in comfort, whilst enjoying the breath-taking surrounding landscape and spectacular flower wall designed by Lamber De Bie.

Locally made Waterford Whisky, beers and stout and a carefully selected wine list, are paired with mouth-watering dishes featuring the finest Irish produce, such as Andarl Farm pork from Mayo, Irish Hereford beef from Westmeath and trout from Goatsbridge Rainbow Trout Farm which is just 3km from the estate. Executive Head Chef Andy Nolan and his culinary team have created the new seasonal menu using the finest local and seasonal produce.

Andy Nolan, Executive Head Chef said, “I hope our guests and visitors enjoy the new menus as much as I enjoyed creating them, working alongside side local vendors is something we pride ourselves on. I want our visitors to enjoy the food, the atmosphere, and beautiful surroundings.”

The Terrace at The Hound is surrounded by retractable windows, roof and is fully heated to ensure guests can relax and enjoy the delicious menus and wonderful views comfortably. The new refurbishment and menus make The Terrace at The Hound a special venue to gather with loved ones whether formal or social. Just next door is the Saddle Bar where guests can enjoy the estate’s own Moongate Gin or a pint with the option of live music at weekends.
