Discover this boutique gem, a secret tucked away in the heart of Ireland. This magnificent 17th century country house is complemented by its incredible countryside surroundings, and by the four acres of meticulously-maintained garden that surround it. Within the house you will find open fires, beautiful furniture, fresh flowers and Irish literature. It retains its stately, historic charm, and blends it with thoughtful renovation that incorporates modern comfort.
Enjoy Viewmount’s exquisite dining experience – VM Restaurant is candlelit, with exposed stone walls, contemporary paintings, linen tablecloths. It is these aspects with the impeccable service, that create a superb atmosphere in which to relax.
Head Chef, Gary O’Hanlon, has created a menu based on the founding principles of classical cookery, but with modern twists. Every dish is prepared using only the finest ingredients. In fact, we pride ourselves on having one of the best larders in Europe, with ingredients sourced locally wherever possible. Our menu is seasonally changing, and we typically have a daily supply of delicious fish from the North West coast, Dry-Aged beef, wonderful game, and fantastic artisan organic cheeses. The wine cellar is stocked with a selection of fine wines, to allow the menu to be properly complemented.
